though the series of falls along shays run, known as Elakala 1-4, were the falls i anticipated the most while i was visiting in WV..they were also the most intimidating due to the amazing shots ive seen and even have hanging on my wall from the magnificent LA [link]..
was an amazing location and hope i did it a lil justice!

Just curious, this is a single shot, correct? I'm quite inspired by this to take some better photos :) And you're welcome!!

:aww: so glad i could inspire! yep..this was just a single shot..shot at f/11 to get everything in focus with no diffraction on the edges..iso 100 for low noise and a five second exposure to get the water movement. only filter used for this one was a CPL to battle the water and rock glare/reflection :)

Oh my, my...you and LeeAnne are seeing things in the same way. Beautiful feeling. Love it. Thanks for all your encouraging comments, too. Haven't been on here in a while.

Hey, I think you two should adopt me! I am your photographic love child (even though I am old enough to be your mother)!!! Your work, and your kindness, inspire me. I'm busy framing butterfly prints for the church bazaar. Not my favorite subject, but my low-priced masterpieces are hanging in bathroom galleries throughout the eastern panhandle of WV.
