even before arriving to the trailhead..the rocky run area of snoqualmie pass holds much beauty. the light just peaking over the mountains was a beautiful sight as it started to burn off the fog and reveal where our travels would lead..

:wow:..i think i would have had to stop too!!..it's almost not safe to drive with views like this out of your window:O..and managed to find a wonderful roadside comp..lovin' the determined plants for some foreground interest..and some magical atmosphere wrapping a crazy scene echoed(for good measure;) in keechelus..awesome capture, bro!!

Beautiful shot!! Love the reflection of not only the mountains and fog but also those little plants sticking out of the water! They really look like little lake creatures. :aww: Such a wonderful beginning to what was an amazing day from start to finish...thanks again for a perfect day. :tighthug:

i loved those little plants :squee: kinda had a special meaning to me.. :blushes: was a pretty perfect day despite the harsh light..but made for the awesome view of Rainier :D

Yup! And there you can’t shoot it from the westbound lanes even if you could safely park. So you have to park on the eastbound side.
