though definitely not the main attraction along the loop trail from multnomah falls to wahkeena in the columbia gorge..Dutchman Falls is a nice place to take a break after climbing all the switchbacks from the bottom!

So, confession time. I had to look up "perquisite" because I thought you'd maybe spelled prerequisite wrong. As in, this is a prerequisite before viewing Weisendanger Falls!

However, I think you hit the nail on the head...it was definitely perquisite!

I'm so glad we stopped here after seeing that fanning swirly thingie. You've captured it beautifully...somehow reminds me of a comet tail! One thing I notice is that the water has lost its color in your shot..I wonder if that's because you shot at creek level and I stayed up on the bank? The water in my shot looks aqua!
Anyway...gorgeous work at this pretty little spot, sweetie! Makes me want to go and hike the creeks all over again.
