unfortunately no giant waterfall but the river was raging like crazy..was a waterfall a couple hundred feet behind me though! they recently removed two dams along this river..so along with the outpoor of water, made the water charcoal in color from all the soot or what i suspect is soot..
so very appreciative of the kind my friend..thank you!
yep, still reminds me of that foggy tree shot of yours that initially drew me to your work years ago.
I think that, hands down, my favorite shots of yours are always the ones that have fog...it just seems to suit your style, your personality, if that makes sense!
Was thinking about the crop here and had considered suggesting you try a square crop to eliminate the empty space at the top..but the more I look at it, the more I'm convinced you made the right decision with leaving the space there. I think it adds to the mystery, allowing the viewer to explore and then ponder. And to me, that's what I like in a photo--the pondering.
sweet..i have a foggy personality and style huh?! know what ya mean came to the realization that square crops dont like me..otherwise i may have tried! but like me..foggy and tall really appreciate the kindness..the pondering, truly means a lot to me, leeanne
knew you were going to give me crap about that glad you know what I mean though..really was a compliment. well like I said, think you made the right choice with the crop, tall and foggy welcome addam..is an honor just to be able to ponder your work over and over again from emails to postings!
the pacific coast is an amazing place, and seems to have a unique character in each state it borders..and possibly bias, but washington's is the best thank you..hope you get to see it with your own eyes
I live somewhat near the coast in Canada, and I have been down the coast all the way down to California via the Oregon coast, I am looking forward to doing it again but this time with a good camera lol.
