being only a half hour away from my house, wallace falls is a destination to go when the snow prohibits me from other places. and out of all the many times i have been, always wanted to find a way to the base from the tourist outlook point. well decided it was time to get a view that very few have seen and here it is, wallace falls from the base :]
please dont use my art unless i give you permission..i can be a pretty nice guy if you just ask
Looks like one of those places which people often say they never wan to leave.
Great shot, it looks like you had to stand in the water to get it. The deeper, dark colour of the water in the center creates a nice focus attraction. Sometimes it's hard to believe a place like this exists.
haha..i never wanted to leave since it was such a pain in the butt to get down there! if there was more space to stand i probably wouldnt have no standing in the water, just some careful rock hopping thanks again, buddy!
thank you! yep, this is the one in washington. is less than 30 minutes from my place so have ventured there many a times..eventually needed a different view is no "official" trail down there, but is a slight boot path just to the right of the lookout point..one i dont recommend as it isnt an easy scramble down and the last portion is about 10 feet of slick rocks to scale down..but really added a whole new level of awesomeness and well worth the efforts
I think this almost B&W edges (barely) out the true B&W. The incredible teal water was not to be missed. The little trace of green climbing between the rocks accentuates their hardness. The muted colors add to the magical quality. Lovely, my dear.
thank you! wasnt quite in there, but the water was flowing over the bottom of my shoes as i stood on a rock that just breached the water level the rock was pretty similar to the one in the extreme lower right corner.
