it really was! usually dont like the sun coming out when shooting waterfalls, and noticed it was starting to burn away the fog on my way out to this one, seeing the rays as i first peered up the gully was a remarkable and relieving sight. thank you
lots of luck! on the hike out i was getting very worried that i was running late and the sun would blast the fall ruining chances for any shots.. but when i came around the corner the sun had just crested the hill and found its way through the trees to light the fall like so..was an amazing sight :] thank you :]
Yeah, sometimes HDR is "my" only way to capture what I really see. So many different levels of light out in nature, it's hard to capture them all right in one exposure. HDR can be both fun and very frustrating, I reject more of my HDR processings than I keep..
Stunning. I love the way the sun is breaking across the water flow like this. I've seen it on a few occassions, but haven't gotten any good captures of it. I really have to start learning how to HDR so I can start bracketing and maybe get a good shot out of some of the things I've seen. This is amazing work.
out of all the falls ive been to you would think that i'd seen this effect before at least once, but this was the first! was so happy, but glad that the canopy hid the sun afterwards too. Thanks LeeAnne! always appreciate your comments
